Palaeophycus and Chondrites. Paleophyeus are flattened burrows from 5mm to 25mm in diameter. They are unbranched, straight or curved. Chondrites are 0.3to 0.6.. diameter, repeatedly dichotomously branching burrows. Abundant, often filling spaces between larger burrows. Has been interpreted as feeding burrow of a sipunculoid worm |
